Yes, this is me. I'm 32 years old, and an alumnus of Iowa State University, where I received my degree in Instrumental Music Education and Cello Performance. At left is a lava lamp, and its an exact replica of the one I used to own.
During my undergraduate years at Iowa State, I became a member of Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI), an international music fraternity. It is a group of women committed to promoting the cause of music throughout the world. To the left, you'll find a link to the national organization's page. I was proud to be a charter member and the webmaster of the Omaha Alumnae Chapter for six years, from 2002-2008.
I love all kinds of music - but am a MAJOR Pink Floyd/classic rock fan. I own almost all of their albums on either CD, cassette tape, or vinyl.
I'm also a poetry lover - I guess I have one of those truly romantic souls. I also enjoy writing it when the right mood strikes me.
